their design projects and studying the spaces I saw in countless design magazines. Later on, I took four years of art and design classes—learning color theory, perspective drawing, and how to convey information visually.
After getting my bachelor’s degree and living for a short time in Rome, Italy, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. There, I was exposed to a modern, open design aesthetic, which later informed my design efforts on a number of residential and commercial projects. Through these experiences, I increased my skills in space layout, materials selection, and particularly color—learning how to develop a cohesive color palette for a whole house or building, and how to utilize color as a major design tool to set the mood and energy of a space. I balanced these experiences with numerous courses in design and creativity and later, a certificate in interior design from Temple University.
Today, my design business is located in Philadelphia. Here I draw on my West Coast-influenced, contemporary design aesthetic to create comfortable, stylish spaces for today’s life and work styles.
